DETERMINATION OF DENSITY (TS EN ISO 1183-1)

Density is the quantity of the substance in the unit volume of the material. This calculation is easy for the known materials of volume. However, this process is slightly different for unidentified volume material. One of the methods used for unidentified volume materials is the Method A-Immersion Method specified in TS EN ISO 1183-1 standard an it is used in our laboratory. For this, a density scale with special apparatus is used. The density of the material is calculated using the weight of the sample in a liquid of known weight, density and temperature in the air.
