DETERMINATION OF THE RESISTANCE TO INTERNAL PRESSURE (TS EN ISO 1167-1/2)

Tests for detecting resistance to internal pressures form the basis for determining the properties and durability of thermoplastic piping system components. It is a method in which the working life of the pipes is determined in an accelerated manner under the test conditions. When exposed to internal pressures under specified conditions (according to customer request), the ambient stress and the duration of the test, the explosion should not occur until the end of the test period.
