Determination of the tensile strength and failure mode of test pieces from a butt-fused joint (TS ISO 13953)

This test is carried out to determine the tensile strength and the type of damage of the test piece taken from a butt-fused joint. The butt-fused joints between PE pipes with a nominal outside diameter of over 90 mm are tested. The sample type is determined by the wall thickness of the pipe. The number of samples determined according to the sample diameter.
